The Steele Memorial Library is seeking applications for a soon-to-be-vacant Laborer position.
Compensation for this part time (20 hours per week) position is $11.67 per hour. The Laborer position at the Steele Library will be primarily custodial in nature but also include such duties as moving boxed books to the temporary delivery shed, assisting Steele staff with special projects (like moving furniture), communicating with the CCLD Administrative Assistant on the status of custodial equipment and custodial supplies for all CCLD libraries, supervising community service workers assigned to the Steele Library, and other duties as required. The position requires the employee to arrive at work in advance of the usual public service hours at the Steele Library all times of the year in all weather conditions.
We are looking for a conscientious, trustworthy, hard working, and dependable individual who understands that to be successful means working well with all other library employees to present an attractive and comfortable library for the public.
